1、 Overview

2、 Chromic acid recovery device
1. Working principle
Chromic acid (also known as chromic anhydride) mist is a highly corrosive and toxic substance that is reddish brown in color. It enters the space through the exhaust system and spreads in the vicinity of the workshop, corroding equipment and buildings, and affecting the health of workers and residents. The HSGS series chromic acid recycler uses the coagulation method to condense the mist containing chromic acid particles through a filter grid made of multiple layers of plastic mesh plates. The acid mist is blocked by the mesh plates and condensed into liquid. The chromic acid solution flows into the lower guide groove along the mesh plate wall and into the recovery container through the conduit. The purified standard gas is discharged into the space by the anti-corrosion fan.
2. Structure and Characteristics
The HSGS series chromic acid recyclers are divided into two types: L-type and W-type. The L-type is vertical and the W-type is horizontal.

5. Installation, use, maintenance, and upkeep
The HSGS series chromic acid recycler must be installed on a concrete foundation and positioned on-site according to the installation dimension diagram provided by our company. When installing the recycler, the bottom must be kept horizontal and the airflow direction must not be reversed to ensure that the chromic acid solution is smoothly discharged through the holes at the bottom of the shell.
5.2 After the installation of the recycler is completed and before it is put into operation, the debris and dirt in the circulation system should be carefully checked and removed to avoid blockage.
The liquid level of the storage tank should be maintained at a certain height, and the storage tank should be cleaned regularly according to its usage.
5.4 Maintenance personnel should regularly check the amount of recycling. If any abnormal phenomena are found, the door should be opened in a timely manner to inspect the filter plate. If there is any damage, it should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner. If the mesh is blocked, it can be rinsed with clean water, usually cleaned once a month or more.
5.5 The recycler is made of rigid polyvinyl chloride sheet with low material strength. Therefore, during loading, unloading, and transportation, it should be handled gently and not collided to avoid damage. It should not be installed in places exposed to direct sunlight, as it may cause equipment aging and damage.
Before use, the recycling device should be connected to the recycling tube and liquid seal. The liquid seal must be filled with water to maintain a certain liquid seal height and ensure the normal recovery of chromic acid.
6. Precautions for selecting the model of chromic acid recycler
6.1 Users can choose between vertical (L-shaped) or horizontal (W-shaped) chromic acid recyclers based on the usage site.
6.2 Users should choose the size of the chromic acid recovery device based on the amount of exhaust air volume.
The resistance of the filter screen of the chromic acid recovery device is 18-40 millimeters of water column. Increasing the recovery device will increase the resistance loss through the system, and the wind pressure of the fan should be reasonably selected.
6.4 If the user requires our selection, we must provide necessary data such as exhaust gas measurement and concentration, installation indoors or outdoors, etc.
3、 Chromic acid purification system
1. Overview
This purification tower is composed of a circular tower body connected in sections by flanges. The specific structure consists of a liquid storage tank, an inlet section, a two-stage spray section, a swirl plate, an outlet cone cap, etc. Its characteristics are: easy production, convenient installation and maintenance, high strength, and small footprint. The spraying form adopts double-layer packing and two-stage spraying, with sufficient gas-liquid contact to improve purification efficiency. This tower can be equipped with a fiberglass centrifugal fan and a plastic or stainless steel water pump. When the air volume is above 10000 cubic meters, using two water pumps can meet the design requirements.
1.1 Purification tower body:
(1) Composite fiberglass storage Ningken, liquid addition tube, and filtrate container added to the suction tube. The inlet section is made of composite fiberglass.
(2) The secondary spray section adopts a row of Y-1 nylon nozzles, Paul ring filter material, and organic glass inspection holes,.
(3) The effective water blocking section is equipped with a swirl plate to enhance the water blocking effect.
(4) Glass hood cover.
(5) F4-72 fiberglass centrifugal fan.
(6) Plastic water pump or stainless steel centrifugal pump.
(7) Other accessories such as plastic pipe fittings, valves, fixed brackets, maintenance ladders, and air intake ducts can be ordered by users.
2. Principle and Explanation of Purification Sequence Process
2.1 Suction hood - inlet duct - fan - inlet section * * filter layer - second filter layer cyclone plate - outlet cap cover - exhaust duct
2.2 Working principle:
This device uses sodium hydroxide solution as the absorption neutralizing solution to purify acid mist exhaust gas. The gas is pressurized or sucked into the inlet section by a centrifugal fan, and then flows upward to the * * filter layer, where it reacts with the neutralizing liquid sprayed from the * * stage nozzle. The absorbed exhaust gas continues to flow upward to the second filter layer, where it comes into contact with the neutralizing liquid sprayed from the second stage nozzle, undergoes a neutralization reaction again, and then passes through the swirl plate. Discharged into the atmosphere through a hood and exhaust duct or fan.
3. Installation and usage precautions
3.1 This equipment should be installed on a concrete foundation that is at least 100mm above the ground level. The water pump and fan should have separate concrete foundations as required.
3.2 During transportation and installation, attention should be paid to protection and the body and components should not be damaged.
3.3 When this equipment leaves the factory, our company will use segmented packaging and transportation according to specific circumstances, and send personnel to the site for installation and commissioning.
3.4 If this equipment is installed and operated outdoors, attention should be paid to antifreeze in the bottom water pool area during winter.
3.5 There is a liquid level mark on the bottom pool of this equipment. Before use, it is necessary to inject the absorbing liquid according to the liquid mark. Attention should be paid to replenishing absorbent solution during use.
3.6 When using, the circulating water pump should be turned on for 2-3 minutes before starting the blower. When stopping, the blower should be stopped for 1-2 minutes before stopping the circulating water pump.
3.7 The acidity depth of the liquid in the bottom water tank of the tower and the degree of gas purification at the exhaust outlet should be checked regularly according to the usage situation. If it exceeds the standard. The absorbent in the bottom pool should be replaced.
3.8 This equipment should undergo maintenance once a year and a half to two years, checking the filling of the disc-shaped spray pipes and fillers, and cleaning them.
